Eleven Mile Reservoir is a reservoir that is surrounded by the Eleven Mile State Park. This reservoir is around 839 km long. The surrounding Eleven Mile State Park is a Colorado State Park and is located in the Park Country. The Park country is 18 km south of Lake George. This whole geographical set up is located in the United States. The cyclists and the hikers are allowed to explore 5 miles of trails around. This reservoir is windy during the afternoon times.
The Eleven Mile & Spinney Reservoirs are famous for the trout fishing. The fish species available here are cutthroat, brown-colored trout, northern pike and rainbow. Another famous fish species found here is Kokanee salmon. This fish breed is found along with the river current in the northern side and this named as Dream Stream. The weed beds are present in the reservoir. It is the home place for the shrimps.
To reach the reservoir, one has to get accessed into the State Park. A pass is available at the entrance of the park, which is mandatory for a person to enter the park. There are limits for the fishes that can be caught daily.
